Our project

MY LIFE IS AVERAGE:

  1. Have a look at this famous site MLIA where youngsters share their everyday mediocrity and post the mundane things in their lives. Read some entries about what makes life worth living and then write a diary entry of your own telling the world of a day in your life. You can write about observations made during the day, about the things that have happened to you, about your friend/mum/family/school… Of course, if you can awaken the readers’ interest by telling them something really interesting or by making them laugh (for example, a funny incident that has occured to you during the day, an observation that could shake and change the world…) you’ll catch their attention and make them want more… So, go crazy and get everyone excited about your “average” day. You can provide videos, links or pictures in connection to your story.
  2. Comment a story by one of your fellow class mates. What do you think about the story? Is the structure clear and comprehensible? Has the author used all senses possible? Does the story have a personal touch or a unique style? Why do you like it / why not? Which details/parts are the best? You can also give hints on how to improve the text grammatically. Remember to be constructive in your criticism!
